Why there is a form before the first text
American carriers drop business texts from numbers whose owner is not on their register. The system is called 10DLC, for ten-digit long code: an ordinary local number used by a business. Registration is per business, not once for dialredphone, so each customer registers their own.
You fill in one form
In Settings, under Texting: your legal business name, its registration number and country, industry, website, address, what you will text about and how people agreed to hear from you. What we already know is filled in for you.
We register your business
dialredphone submits your business to the carriers’ register, then the kind of texts you will send, then your number. Your dialredphone number is the reachable US phone the register asks for.
The carriers review it
Reviewers at the carriers check the business and the sample texts. You see where it is at each step, in plain English. If they refuse something, we correct it in place and send it back.
You start texting
Once approved, texts go out from the same number your customers already call, in the same thread as your calls with them.
